Don't worry, we're talking about your furbaby! It's important to remember before Fido spends time in his crate, is left unattended in the home (inside or outside, even if you're there), or playing with other dogs to remove all collars and/or harnesses. Did you know that, sadly, many dogs have died due to strangulation because their collar or harness got stuck on a cabinet, door handle, fence, or other protruding objects that can hook onto them? Letting Fido "get naked" is one of the easiest ways to prevent a tragedy, and guaranteed his(or her) safety while you are away or unavailable.
