Anyone else glad to see the temperatures dropping below surface-of-the-sun levels here in Texas? While it might be tempting to take Daisy on her walk a little earlier than you have been, it's important not to forget to check the pavement (or concrete) to make sure it's a safe level for her happy little paws! One of the easiest ways to do so, is the barefoot (or hand) check. Just place your bare hand or foot on the surface you are wanting to walk on for 10 seconds - if it's too hot for you, it's too hot for Daisy!
